Delete Old Spoolfiles (DLTOLDSPLF) command for IBM iSeries 400 (AS/400)

Some of the members of the MIDRANGE-L asked me to publish this command. So here it is. There are numerous commands 'out there' with this name. OS/400 had one (TAATOOL) until V3R1M0. Note that this today deletes all files prior to Jan 1, 2000. An improved version is included in the current payable TAATOOL and a small version is included in the iSeries 400 (AS/400) documentation in API Appendixes. Alex Nubla has another free command to Clean Output Queues .

The command on this page is none of theese, but has more or less the same function.

Selects Outq's to include, to exclude or select *ALL.
Deletes or moves spool files.

You can install and use it on one single iSeries 400 (AS/400) in any commercial or non-commercial project YOU are working on. You can allow anyone else working on the same project on the same iSeries 400 (AS/400) to use it. You can distribute this text only (the description and my address) to anybody you want if it is not changed. Actually you are invited to do so. No other distribution is allowed. You must remove the utility from machines you will no longer have access to. You are not allowed to sell (alone or as part of a project) any services from this utility.
